We wanted to create a formula that would brighten the skin tone, help even out the irregularities and protect skin from further pigmentary damage. However many solutions out there containing high amounts of vitamins and acids can be very sensitising for sensitive skin and if unprotected by SPF may put our skin at even higher risk of pigmentary damage.

We found out about a recent discovery of Cystoseira tamariscifolia’s (the so-called rainbow algae) capacity to change colour based on its environment and absorb light. This was previously observed only in animals such as chameleons. This finding led to creation of cellular concentrate that brightens the skin tone and blocks new pigmentation spots by 45%, improving heterogeneity and protecting skin from blue light damage by 85%

First research on ingredients starting in 2023, the tests of actives, textures and feedbacks from you about the feeling on the skin, partnering with the best chemists and production. The goal was to create a velvety texture that would feel soft, sooth and hydrate the skin immediately while using only natural actives that are backed by science and have been actually tested for their efficiency. The road was long and several of the first labs weren't the right fit and we had to start over but at the end the long process was worth it. A year after our launch we received the European Natural Excellence Award and we felt so honoured to start our journey with it.

Why to use an oil serum?
Our skin's outer layer is made up of lipids, which act as a cutaneous barrier to protect the skin from external irritations. However, as we age, the rate of lipid renewal in the epidermis rapidly diminishes, and UV rays and atmospheric pollution can damage our skin. Oils, on the other hand, easily penetrate the skin, breaking through the lipid layer and delivering undiluted beneficial essential fatty acids and active ingredients directly to the skin in the most concentrated form.
